With a referral and Mental Health Treatment Plan you may be eligible for a rebate of $84.80 (max 10 per calendar year) which we can process for you on the day. If you do not bring your referral you will be provided with an invoice which you can use to make your own Medicare claim.

Medicare Bulk Billing

We currently bulk bill (during business hours only) for Commonwealth pension/concession and health care card holders, full-time student card holders and children under 18. 

In order to be bulk-billed you MUST bring your referral to the first appointment. Without your referral a fee will be payable and you will be provided an invoice to make your own claim to Medicare.

If you have exhausted your medicare entitlements for the year, you may wish to use private health cover entitlements if you have any, or continue on a fee-paying basis.


DVA Health Cards

We provide no-fee, no-gap electronic claiming for clients who hold a DVA Gold Card or a DVA White Card that specifies relevant conditions for psychological treatment (eg: depression, anxiety, substance abuse, PTSD etc).

Simply obtain a referral from your GP (for white card holders this must mention at least one of your specified conditions) to begin treatment. 

Child/Adolescent Services

Child and adolescent patients are generally requested by the psychologist to complete a Behavioural Assessment as part of developing a treatment plan for the patient.

Unfortunately this is not covered under the Medicare Better Access scheme, so a one-off fee of $190 is payable at the first appointment for this initial assessment and the time it takes for analysis and interpretation outside of your appointment. The remaining treatment for children and adolescents is bulk billed via your referral.

Out of Hours

Limited out of hours appointments may be available. These are billed at $110 per hour. With a referral you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate. We do not bulk bill after hours.

Cancellation Policy

As our clinic becomes busier, we appreciate your help in considering others who are also wishing to access a bulk-billing service. 

If you cannot attend your appointment please contact us to reschedule preferably with 48 hours notice.

Cancelling on the same day or failing to attend twice may result in wait-listing, or you may be asked to pay in advance.

Private Health

We offer HICAPS claiming for participating funds. Note with a wireless terminal, not all funds are equipped for wireless-level security in which case you will be provided with a paid invoice to make your claim.

Please check in advance with your fund if your policy covers psychology services, and if there are any specific item numbers or codes they require.

Note with HCF, claims can only be made after the 10 Medicare sessions have been exhausted for the year and the psychologist must sign the HCF claim form attesting to this.
